Burger, Fried Chicken, Pork-Free
As a self-professed connoisseur of fried chicken, I have had my fair share of the golden delicious crunchy juicy bird. While I’ve heard of Fowl Boys, I have yet to try them till today. On the first glance, a simple menu - limited items with the important necessities only, easy to understand, and also noticed that they are in the premium pricing range (eg. imagine Burgerlab). Unfortunately, this branch is the only one that does not serve ala carte fried chicken, not yet anyway but was informed that they will in the future.
Proceeded to their Motherclucker Sandwich with the added chicken. This large burger is MYR22.5 + MYR7 for additional piece of boneless thigh added to the burger. The large burger took quite some time to chow down. Luckily, it was the chicken was really crispy and well seasoned, and along with the tangy slaw, crunchy gerkins, and garlic mayo, made this one clucking good burger.

Added also a peanut butter inspired milk shake. This is a proper over the top thick and super sweet US style milk shake, not one of those weak watery poor excuse of a milkshake that some other joints serve. But a fair warning to those who order this, be prepared to have a high dose of glucose in your bloodstream.
Order fries on the side. Nothing special… comparable to Burgerlab fries, even the sauce was similar. I would skip this next time. The Desa Sri Hartamas Fowl Boys is branch of the original store in SS15 (Subang) and another one in Ampang. The establishment in Hartamas is still new, so there is room for improvement.
