Chicken Chop, Non-Halal
The Hainanese Chicken Chop at Ground Eatery is probably the gold standard of chicken chops in Puchong. Each piece of chicken chop is a good sized portion. The meat is well seasoned and tender and succulent. It is doused with a generous amount of sauce as Vicky & Shirley (the proprietors) wish to ensure that you leave their restaurant with a hearty meal. The Chicken Chop is paired with sides of roasted potatoes and peas to complement the chicken.
In fact, that is one of the reasons why I don’t go more often to Ground Eatery is I find myself overeating. To give you an idea of what a good deal it is, it’s just RM16.90 as an item on their weekday set lunch. It even comes with a cup of iced tea.

Apart from the usual tea and coffee, Ground Eatery also has a selection of beers and limited wine. And it’s one of the few places that serves a dunkel (Erdinger) that I can pair with the chicken chop.
Parking at Ground Eatery might sometimes be hard at ground level. However, there is always parking available at the basement.
