Nasi Lemak, Pork-Free
A hidden gem near Pulau Tikus market Heritage Pies & Pastries. All the while I thought they are selling pie only. But I just noticed they do sell Nyonya Nasi Lemak and every weekend they will sell special dish with rice.
Not only that, since MCO 3years ago they already doing food charity to the underprivileged. Now, once a month they will cook and deliver to the one who need at Rifle Range. 100 packets of rice with dishes. So on that day they don’t sell nasi lemak at the shop. only sell pies and cakes.
Tried their special nasi lemak (RM13). The rice full with fragrance but not salty at all. At first I thought why so bland. No taste , although the aroma so refreshing . But after mix with their sambal, the taste of magic happen. The taste, the fragrance all dancing around my brain.
Tried their Sugee Cake (RM16 for half a loaf). Lovely. The cake full with almond crumbs, it was light and taste delicious.
Tried their otak otak too (RM5). Although the fish was fresh, the eggs smell a little bit like fermented.
Please note that it is take away only no dine in.
