Char Kuey Teow, Street Food, Non-Halal
I still don’t get it when people say eating char koay teow in the island is like eating gold! Some claimed that it can be as high as RM20 where I simply cucuk one and eat puun RM5.50 without egg or with egg. 2 large prawns and potong Chinese sausage puun baru 6 ringgit nia! And those who prefer charcoal ckt didn’t realise that the wok hei they meant are actually a little bit of charcoal ash(correct me if I am wrong). To me, with or without charcoal cooking puun I walloped!
Bought home 2 dishes for lunch and char mee hoon for daughter from Hock Poh Lye Cafe.
