Roast Duck
One of the challenges of ordering roast duck for delivery is whether the skin will still be crispy when it arrives. I ordered a lower quarter roast duck (RM33) from Fourteen Steam Roll HQ in Bandar Puchong Utama, and I was pleasantly surprised by what I received.
The duck arrived warm, and the skin was still wonderfully crispy. That combination of crispy skin and juicy meat made the duck particularly enjoyable. I ate it on its own, without needing any of the accompanying sauce.

I thought RM33 was fair value for a good piece of roast duck. The delivery charge was another RM3.10, bringing the total to RM36.10.
What impressed me most was how well the duck survived the journey. Roast duck skin can lose its crispiness when enclosed in takeaway packaging, particularly when moisture and steam accumulate during transit.

Lower Quarter Roast Duck – RM33.00
Delivery Fee – RM3.10
Total: RM36.10
Average per pax: RM36.10 (1 diner)
MVX Score: 7.7/10
M – Meal Value
At RM33 for a lower quarter roast duck, I considered it fair value. The duck had crispy skin and tender, juicy meat, making it a satisfying purchase.
Score: 7.0/10
V – Vroomness
The duck arrived warm, and its skin was still crispy despite the journey. The meat also retained its tenderness and juiciness. The RM3.10 delivery fee was reasonable for this order. The overall delivery experience was better than expected.
Score: 8.0/10
X – X-Factor
The standout was the duck’s crispy skin. Having that satisfying crispiness alongside tender, juicy meat after delivery made this a particularly enjoyable roast duck.
Score: 8.0/10
