Korean, Fried Chicken, Pork-Free
It was one of those evenings where we just wanted to stay home and watch a movie. And what better to go with a movie than fried chicken. An SOS to fellow chiefeaters yielded a recommendation to try K Fry. In particular, I have to credit Heislyc Loh as he really knows Korean fried chicken. There was one just within the optimum delivery zone on Grab. Optimum as in not too far away the food arrives soggy and that I would have to pay too much.

It arrived well within the specified time and I must say the packaging of the food was good. The fried chicken was still warm. There was a nice crunch to each bite and each piece was a bite into spicy heaven. It was not too hot that it would leave you gasping for water. Just a nice amount of spice to whet the appetite. The meat inside remained juicy and tender. The flavours was a blend of savouriness, slightly sweetness and tanginess. Quite enjoyable.

I had Jinro soju at home. That was a good complement to the Fried Chicken. The clean and crisp taste of soju cuts through the richness of the fried chicken, cleansing the palate with each sip. The light, refreshing nature of soju enhances the flavors of the juicy, crispy chicken, creating a harmonious balance. Together, they create a classic Korean combination that is loved by food enthusiasts, offering a perfect blend of flavors that is both satisfying and enjoyable.
