The chicken hor fun soup was flavourful and comforting, and the prawn wonton skin was lovely and smooth. I also really appreciated the generous serving of chilli padi! The wonton portion itself was generous too, although I wish there was a little more filling in each one.
The only downside with the hor fun was that the soup was slightly too oily for my liking, with a visible layer of oil floating on top. A lighter broth would have made it even better.
For the dim sum, the otak-otak was definitely my favourite — quite unique and flavourful! I also enjoyed that most of the food was served nice and hot.
The kaya tart was good too, though it would have been even better served a little warmer.
The other dim sum dishes were fairly average for me, as the flavours didn’t stand out as much. The white coffee, however, was just right — not overly sweet, which I liked.
Overall, a decent and satisfying meal with generous portions. A few small improvements in the broth, wonton filling and serving temperature would make the experience even better.
