Nasi Lemak, Curry Mee, Pork-Free
I was intrigued by this shop with the romantic name of Kopi Surat Cinta Kelana Jaya (love letter coffee). The poetic menu fitted right in with the concept. I found out from the staff that the shop had only been open for 11 days, but they have other older outlets in Bangi, Kota Damansara and Putrajaya.
We ordered the nasi lemak ayam, mee kari ratna, and kopi santan dan mantan.
Nasi Lemak. I think the nasi lemak was the best dish of the day. I quite enjoyed it.

Mee Kari. The curry noodles was quite all right, and the curry gravy was flavourful.

Kopi. For the coffee, the staff explained they put 25ml of condensed milk per cup, so we got them to reduce it to 10ml per cup, just for us. It tasted quite all right, with thick coconut cream on top giving it a rich consistency similar to whipped cream.

By 1 pm, the shop was absolutely full of chatty, excited customers. Groups of happy makciks and families were spotted. Looks like business is booming. I wish them success in 2024.
