Chanced upon this new eatery run by Chinese muslims from China in Jalan Austin Heights, Taman Mount Austin,JB called Restoran KungFu Mee Tarik while scouting around the area for noodle. We were the only customers at this hour and service was fast.
Our orders are 2 promotional sets (Set 1 consisting 2 bowls of noodle soup with chicken slices,3 skewers of lamb meat and a spiced corn egg. Set 2 consisting one bowl of noodle soup with chicken slices, 3 skewers of lamb meat and a can of coke), a dish of chicken meat dumpling, a cold dish of taufu skin/cloud ear fungus/cucumber and a chestnut cold drink.
The noodle texture is nice and chicken broth tastes authentic not like the broth in most shops which are mostly made with added chicken cubes and MSG.
The skewer lamb meat doesn’t have that “shao wei” typical of lamb meat. Total cost is RM 94.25.
