Japanese, Ramen, Pork-Free
My lunch at Kurokeka Ramen Uptown. Saw this newly open restaurant on the way home last week. Shared the news with my colleagues, and here we are today trying out their food. There’s Special Offer now – 1x Ramen + 1x Salad for RMM23.80. I ordered the Special Offer with Dry Ramen. The salad comes in a huge serving that I have to share it with my colleague. And there’s 9 sauces for u to choose from to go with Salad.

The Dry Ramen, I’m loving it… love the Ramen texture – QQ de.

Fried Dumpling – Shrimp @ RM8 for 4 pcs. Minced prawn meat. Crispy at the bottom and soft at the top.

My colleague ordered their Chicken Katsu @ RM23.80 – he said the tasted brings back one of the food he ate during childhood. The Chicken Katsu is juicy and crispy outside.

Both drinks Lemon & Passion Fruit Jelly Ice @ RM7 each – There’s no ice in it but it’s served cold. Refreshing, and they have those Ai Yu Jelly in it.
Overall, we are happy and satisfied with the food. Best is they serve No Pork No Lard. Ngam me. A cute uncle came to our table and suggested us how to eat the salad so we could try all 9 types of sauces. He also recommended a new menu, Ramen served in Pepper soup with fish cake and fried you tiao. He said the pepper soup will make you sweat. Reached home shower and will have a good night sleep. So I told him I would come try 1 day after work, for I don’t want to smell of sweat at work later.
