Asam Laksa, Street Food, Pork-Free
Today lunch at Lao Mao cafe at Megah Rise Mall (1st floor) and noticed they have new items on the menu, the Assam Laksa…it’s heavenly delicious!!!! Just like the olden days popo mama homecook type. And the fish is so fresh, soft and lots (fish expenisve nowadays RM30/kg ah) with thick and rich soup. And and … indescribable. Come try for yourself.

If you dun wan to eat a lot, go for the small bowl like rice bowl size. We also order our usual nasi lemak with tender curry chicken. Love the sambal not the sweet type but Nyonya type.

If you like Sarawak laksa (forgot to snap pic), it’s also very nice and they have sandwiches on the menu with homemade sourdough. Almost forgot to intro the beef noodle. I dun usually take beef noodle (5th pic)…however, tis is good wei. Small, simple and nicely deco cafe handled by two sisters.

The boss even prepare sweets for small children. So sweet and considerate lady boss.
