Chiefeater Kane Chong stopped by Da Jia Da Lee Restoran for brunch after a rough car day and liked the yuewat and yuedaomei there

Nasi Lemak, Mee Siam, Local Breakfast, Non-Halal
My wife and I stumbled into this quaint but “atas” kopitiam, Loong Hwa Kopitiam, situated at the ground floor of The Stellar Suites in Puchong Puteri at 9.30am, 30 minutes before their official opening time at 10am. (I was thinking… If you wanna serve breakfast, pls open earlier ma)
As we were early, the half boiled eggs weren’t ready yet. Dang it! So no point ordering the toast bread, although they were ready serve. No combo also. Hmm… But we sat down anyway, and browsed thru the menu. I ordered the Mee Siam and Char Siew Bao. Wife had an appetite, so she got the Nasi Lemak biasa and got another plate of Chee Cheong Fun (!).

Only about 3 minutes, the Mee Siam came. Quite nicely donee, except I’m not used to the Acar by the side. I feel it spoils it (sour!), but aside from that it’s good. The Char Siew Bao was ok lah. Standard taste. Wife’s Nasi Lemak was good, could be more aromatic. It was above average (I took a spoon), but won’t blow your socks off.
The Chee Cheong Fun at Loong Hwa Kopitiam was a let down though. Curry sauce not enough, and not enough taste. A bit forgettable.
Ambience was nice and cozy. Air-con place so no complains. There are parking right outside the outlet, so no issues there.
Overall, I’d give it a 7.5/10. I’d come back to Loong Hwa Kopitiam, just for the convenience. Maybe bring my Mother In Law. But won’t order the Chee Cheong Fun again.
