All pho-ed out last night, so we had a lovely Greek dinner at Mix Greek Restaurant instead. Scenic little courtyard with two adorable welcome pups and this deliciousness. Minced mushroom moussaka & pork tenderloin patatogiros. And they threw in a banana chocolate crumble dessert on the house.

"It's a dog's life" is actually pretty fabulous for these two. The handfed treats were free-flow & so were the cuddles from visitors & staff.

What is a Patatogiros

A patatogiros is a popular Greek street food that combines two beloved culinary elements: gyro and fries. It consists of succulent layers of seasoned meat, typically pork or chicken, slowly roasted on a vertical spit. The meat is thinly sliced and placed in a warm pita bread alongside crispy French fries. To enhance its flavors, traditional toppings such as tzatziki, tomatoes, onions, and sometimes feta cheese are added. The patatogiros is then rolled up into a delicious wrap, creating a delightful handheld meal that is savoured with great pleasure by all.
