Chiefeater PLKV got his Japanese cuisine fix at Japas Kuala Lumpur since he could not fly off to Japan yet
Korean, Fried Chicken, Fast Food
A quick bite via food delivery from Nak Nak Puchong turned out to be a delightful experience, proving that simple comfort food can still impress. Their fried boneless chicken called Nak Dak (RM16.90 for 9 pieces) stood out for their well-seasoned, juicy interior and crispy exterior. Deliciously satisfying and far from the run-of-the-mill variety.
The onion rings (RM11.80) were good too. Perfectly fried to a golden crunch while retaining a soft, sweet onion centre. If I had a complain, it's that the thickness of the onions were too thin. It was not a satisfying mouth feel.
What amped up both dishes, however, was the selection of accompanying sauces. The chicken with the bulgogi sauce and the onion rings with its sour cream dip. These flavour-packed dips brought a dynamic edge to the meal. For an affordable, no-fuss indulgence. Nak Nak Puchong delivers comfort food done right.
