Jen and I had breakfast at Nanyang Cafe Sunway Pyramid one morning. Let me tell you, this place offers not only a satisfying meal but also a fantastic view of Sunway Lagoon. As I entered the cafe, the high ceiling and abundance of natural light immediately caught my attention, creating a welcoming and refreshing ambiance.
To kickstart my morning, I had my go-to breakfast staples. I ordered a plate of half-boiled eggs and a cup of kopi. The eggs came in a can of hot water and I was told to wait for 7 minutes for it to be ready. While I did not like the process of cracking the eggs because it was really hot but the half-boiled eggs were cooked quite nicely. Paired with a sprinkle of soy sauce and a dash of white pepper, each spoonful was a comforting treat. The kopi delivered a rich and aromatic experience. Sipping on the smooth, flavourful coffee was the perfect way to awaken my senses.
Jen had the wantan mee. While it didn't blow her away, t was a decent enough. The noodles had a nice texture, firm to the bite, and were accompanied by savoury slices of wantan. The flavours were satisfying though not excellent.
The view adds an enchanting element to the dining experience, making Nanyang Cafe Sunway Pyramid a must-visit destination for those seeking a picturesque setting.
