Chiefeater David Quah noted the Jawa Mee stall at Restaurant Bright Impulse in Taman Island Glades for its pumpkin-based gravy and crispy prawn fritters

Radish Cake, Nasi Lemak, Pork-Free
Another stall that deserves Michelin Bib Gourmand. OKU Stall 51 Pasar Sentral Sibu I tried:
Stir-fried radish cake, pan-fried Guo Tie and Nasi Ayam Penyet. I wanted to try Nasi Ayam Berempah but they ran out that day. Everything is so scrumptious, chicken is so succulent. The rice might be plain-looking but it had a whiff of ginger and chicken stock. Yums. The Ayam Penyet comes with fiery sambal, so good. Very fragrant and it goes very well with Guo Tie and stir-fried radish cake.

The stall is operated by a young man who is hard of hearing. Very timid and quiet but his culinary skill is top-notch. I saw how he wrapped the dumplings, very careful and lovingly done. His parents are there at the stall, they are in charge fo taking orders. They also have some economy rice dishes when you go around lunch time.

Right opposite the stall is the best coffee and tea at Sibu Central Market, Stall number 20, Lai Heung. I shall write another post someday about this stall.
