Chiefeater William Thevarajan and his daughter enjoyed a meat platter for lunch at NY Steak Shack Setapak
Wantan Mee, Sesame Balls, Non-Halal
Makan and chit-chat with my friend on Wednesday at Old Town White Coffee, Sunway Mentari. I ordered the hot kopi-o and she ordered the hot honey lemon, since it was raining quite heavily.
The Wantan Mee with fried wantan was quite all right. The wan tan was crunchy. The soup was a tad bit too salty.
However, the highlight was the sesame balls filled with pandan daoyong, which arrived hot, with a crispy exterior and slightly chewy interior. The filling was not too sweet, just nice. We both enjoyed them.
We scanned a QR code to order and our food came fast. My friend said the service has improved since the last time she came a few years ago. Back then, she was unhappy with the slow service.
