Chiefeater VK experienced a mixed dinner at Kedai Kopi Puchong, finding the winners in the stir-fried greens and fried rice

Porridge, Street Food
I walked through Wisma Merdeka thinking the shop would be on the ground floor because the address says so… but no. It’s actually on the 1st floor, and the porridge counter sits behind the main shop. You need to circle around the back corridor to find this little workspace where two very dedicated auntie-uncle operators quietly run the stall.

Ordered their Mixed Pork Innard Porridge (RM14), and this was one of those bowls where the ingredients speak louder than anything.

The liver came with a pleasant chew, not powdery at all, which is rare. The intestine was surprisingly soft instead of rubbery, showing they cleaned and cooked it well. The porridge itself leans towards the smooth Hong Kong style, lightly seasoned so the natural sweetness of the meat comes through.

If you enjoy innards, this is genuinely satisfying.

This is the kind of hidden gem that rewards the effort of finding it.
