Braised Pork Trotter, Street Food, Non-Halal
Every time I come to Pudu Ulu's Char Siew Yoong, my footsteps always automatically go in the direction of the braised pig's feet. To be honest, although Char Siew Yoong's glass barbecued pork is good, I’m always thinking about that tempting plate of braised pig’s feet.
Their braised pork trotter can really be described as "soft, glutinous and tasty". The trotter has been cooked slowly over a long period of time, and the meat has already fallen off the bones. It melts in your mouth, and every bite is full of rich braised aroma. The marinade is the highlight, it’s fragrant but not greasy, which is great news for foodies! I can't help but pour it on the sesame oil rice. The rice absorbs the strong flavor instantly, making every bite irresistible. Not to mention several bowls of rice, sometimes I don't even want to waste the soup and scoop every drop into my mouth.
Therefore, every time I eat braised pork trotters, I always pat my belly with satisfaction and sigh that this is the perfect combination in my mind. Is there anyone out there who loves Yang’s braised pig’s feet just like me? If you haven’t tried it yet, I really recommend you give it a try next time you go!
One person's portion is priced at RM28
