Char Kuey Teow, Street Food, Non-Halal
At the Perai food haven of Chai Leng Park, there is an unassuming Kopitiam that faces the market by the name of Restoran Kim Sun. It houses a branch of Sri Siam, famous for its Curry Fish head and precooked food for Lunch. We were here much too early for that but we came for Char Koey Teow.
Prepared by an elderly hawker, this Char Koey Teow is one of those that I will have once in a while when our favourite curry mee stall at Yang Way is closed. The Koey Teow is decently prepared and in my opinion the best in Chai Leng Park over some of the more famous ones.
