Nasi Lemak, Chicken Schnitzel, Pork-Free
Ruang by Cookiez Bar is located at a part of Puchong that would only appeal to those living around the area. It’s not in the main commercial areas of Bandar Puchong Jaya or Bandar Puteri Puchong. My wife had a Nyonya Nasi Lemak with a Fried Chicken Chop (RM17.50) while I had a Chicken Schnitzel (RM23).

Wife found the Nasi Lemak to her liking especially with the side dish of Acar. She did not appreciate the chicken chop was in fact a Chicken Schnitzel. And I would agree with her. A breaded chicken to go with Nasi Lemak is just not the right combination.

I enjoyed the Chicken Schnitzel that Ruang by Cookiez Bar served. The chicken was well seasoned and well fried. There was no residual oil on the schnitzel, so I wasn’t eating oil with the meat. The meat was fresh and chunky which I enjoyed biting into.
Their latte (RM9) is heavy on milk. Not to my liking but perhaps appreciated by some.
While parking around this area is not plentiful, I would say there is enough so that you should be able to find a place to park if you are coming to Ruang by Cookiez Bar at a non-peak time.
