There's another new opening in Mount Austin. Last week, SekBao Mount Austin, famous for their buns, opened the doors to another branch. This marks the third branch of the restaurant, with the main one located in Bukit Indah. As always, each branch carries a strong nostalgic atmosphere of a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant. The walls are adorned with many Hong Kong star posters, and familiar Cantonese old songs play in the background. It truly feels like stepping into a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant.

When you visit SekBao Mount Austin, you mustn't miss their signature handmade buns. They offer a variety of dishes, including 'Dai Zai Mien,' crispy fish and shrimp toast, 'Good Luck Pork Chop Bun,' classic siu mai, glutinous rice chicken, curry fish balls, secret braised chicken feet, popular fried pork chop, deep-fried wonton, butter pineapple bun, osmanthus tortoise jelly, Gong Tong frozen tofu pudding, Hong Kong-style hot and cold beverages, salty lemon cola, black truffle char siu bun, cheese mushroom bun, and more.

Pricing is quite reasonable, and the restaurant offers a comfortable air-conditioned dining environment. Personally, I enjoy their black truffle char siu bun here. Thank you to the restaurant for their delightful Hong Kong-style desserts, including tortoise jelly to beat the heat and smooth frozen tofu pudding.
