Chiefeater Peter Yeoh has koay teow th’ng at Eng Sin Cafe, the last of its kind in Penang with pork offal, blood pudding & heritage
Shanghainese, Non-Halal
If you love Shanghai Street Food, the latest place to check out is in SS2! I ordered the Bamboo Shoot Pork Noodles Soup (SN020) RM16.50. The portion is huge enough to feed two people. The taste is authentic and it's non spicy.
Next, we ordered the Shanghai Xiao Long Bao at RM8.50 for 3 pieces
One must-try item is the Shanghai Sheng Jian Bao at RM10 for 3 pan fried pieces. Do be careful when taking a bite as it contains some 'soup' within the Bao.
The restaurant is also decked in huge posters of Shanghai skyline. In total, we paid only RM35 for these 3 items.
