Shaolin Chef Kampar Wantan Mee
Wantan Mee, Non-Halal

Our quest for a satisfying lunch after camp led us to Shaolin Chef Kampar. Our initial orders were the Dry Curry Mee with Mutton for me and the Wantan Mee for Jen, and it turned out to be a rather interesting twist.
Jen's assessment of the Wantan Mee was that it was a bit too firm for her liking, although I personally found it to be perfectly al-dente. This difference in preference provided an unexpected opportunity for a meal swap. Jen was more than happy to switch with me, as my Dry Curry Mee turned out to be slightly softer than I preferred.
Wantan Mee (RM10.90)
Dry Curry Mee with Mutton (RM16.90)
The Wantan Mee, upon closer inspection, revealed a well-balanced seasoning. However, the one aspect that could have been improved was the fried wantan, which seemed a bit stingy on the meat filling. In my opinion, I would have preferred smaller wantan with a generous filling, as opposed to larger ones with less meat inside.
Our friend, Alice, ordered a curry spaghetti with beef (RM16.90) which she found to be alright.
