This famous Sungai Ara Char Koay Kak at Siang Tatt Coffee Shop was recommended by Chiefeater William WL Loo a couple of years ago! So today I finally decided to drive all the way from George Town to try this! And they were right as it’s delicious and not too oily and not chopped until mother cannot recognise son!
2 years ago, someone from sungai ara warned me not to expose too much about their pekan food. He said leave this area alone so that it will not be overcrowded with tourists! To me, by what I saw this morning was, this place is already overcrowded with local folks! And it’s too far for those who come to the island for holiday so not to worry.
