Basilico Restaurant Lunch
Italian, Non-Halal
- RM20 - RM50 per pax
Chiefeater William WL Loo wanted a change of palate from street food so indulged in a bit of Italian with lunch at Basilico Restaurant
Curry Mee, Street Food, Non-Halal
Ordered food delivery from SK Wantan Mee Maju Jaya Food Court, and it turned out to be a great decision. The curry BBQ pork and fried wantan mee (RM19.40) were delicious. The broth was rich and flavourful, without the usual MSG overload, which made it stand out. I appreciated the choice of noodles, from yellow mee to mee hoon to wantan mee. So you can pick your favourite.
The wantan soup (RM13.90) was equally satisfying, with 10 pieces of wantan that were made with hand-chopped minced meat, giving them a nice, firm bite and a well-seasoned flavour. Although the wantan skin was a touch hard, the overall taste of the wantan and the quality of the soup more than made up for it.
