Chiefeater Lee Mun went back to Brickfields to reminisce and enjoyed a delicious and affordable Indian rice at Lawanya Food Corner

Buffet, Catering, Pork-Free
I had a luncheon at home one weekend and my friend ordered a buffet set from SoKaYa Cafe. The East Meets West set delivered in terms of price and taste.
Priced at a very reasonable RM35 per person, the portion were generous and the food was tasty. There's a minimum pax of 10 pax per order.

Neatly presented in well-organised trays, it was ideal for our group lunch, blending flavours from Eastern and Western cuisines into a thoroughly satisfying spread.

The menu included:
Saffron Pilaf Rice: Fragrant and subtly spiced, a solid base for the heartier dishes.

Orange Ginger Grilled Chicken: Tender and flavourful, with a hint of citrusy zest and a touch of ginger warmth.

Refreshing Salad & Hummus: A fresh and creamy accompaniment that provided a light counterpoint to the meal.
Beef Stew: An absolute standout—rich, hearty, and cooked to melt-in-your-mouth perfection.

Shepherd Pie: Another highlight—creamy, comforting, and packed with savoury goodness.

Butter Cake: A sweet and simple ending to a feast.
Sokaya’s delivery was timely, and the attention to detail in packaging ensured the food arrived fresh and inviting. The Beef Stew and Shepherd Pie stole the show for me, with their depth of flavour and homely appeal. For an at-home buffet with a touch of elegance and variety, SoKaYa Cafe is a winner.
