Cheng Heng Kway Chap and Braised Duck Rice is Good
Kway Chap, Street Food
Chiefeater Luke Soon had the kway chap at Cheng Heng Kway Chap and Braised Duck Rice at the Holland Drive Food Centre

Koay Chap, Street Food, Non-Halal
Had a work assignment around Bayan Baru this afternoon. To avoid the after-hour jam back to QTH, I decided to look for dinner nearby. Sunshine Market Food Court not exactly dinner friendly as most stalls open for breakfast and lunch only. So next best choice would be Super Tanker Food Court at Taman Lip Sin.
Found this piping hot koay chap (RM6), on a cool evening, after the downpour in the afternoon. Perfect combination! The soup is just the right note of herbs and the duck meat, innards generously garnished the soft and melt-in-your-mouth flat rice noodle. Topped with a cutting of chilli padi, every mouthful brings back the memories when I was stationed in Penang, working with HP and Dell.
Few places on Penang Island that are still budget friendly.
Come and try! While there are lots more other selections, I also need to be friendly to my budget. We shall leave the rest for other opportunities when I am in the vicinity again.
