our office dinner at the tamarra by irama dining. ordered the ‘set hidang’ at RM108 per person for 5 persons.
there are 10 of us and we shared each dish! well, 4 main dish surely not enough, so we ordered another 4 main dish. after that, we also ordered extra desserts. the place is very lovely, big and spacious with 3 dining areas – indoor, indoor glass, outdoor (seaview). do go to its FB page (will put up link later) for more details.
overall most of the food were good, though some just average. it was because i took a bit here and there, can’t really get the full taste and also not so sure if i name the dishes correct (some i am sure, some i don’t know what)
prawn fritters
potato and leek soup
kerabu mangga raja ulam
udang masak lemak chili api
er…. i not sure. is this the ayam masala or not? maybe mix up with the others side dishes (out of the set) we ordered… doesn’t look like ayam masala
ikan bakar signature tamarra
both types, nasi pandan and nasi kunyit
mix berries panacota
main (not from set hidang). not sure what are these two dishes called but the botom one show are prawns for sure though what style i don’t know… and worst… i didn’t get to eat. haha.
the top one could be duck as we did order a duck dish
left – sotong rempah tumbuk
right – sorry, don’t know
main. aru creamy masala lobster. special of the month
er… forgot take photo of the creamy meat inside. although so expensive but tastewise is just so-so
right – traditional tiramisu
left – churros keria
right – not sure what
left – cinnamon cannoli
there are 3 other set hidang at RM78, RM88 and RM138. see the menu – as with all sets, comes with usual appetiser, main (4), dessert and drinks.
