Dinner at Pik Wah Restaurant with several friends was revelatory about the quality of food that they serve
Mee Siam, Pork-Free
On recommendation by my good friend, I decided to to try The Toast Puchong at Puchong Puteri. After circling for a good 30 minutes, manage to get a car park (which was a about lunch time).
Restaurant was quite full but we managed to get a nice table. Wifey took their Mee Siam with Otak Otak while I ordered the Sambal Seafood Fried Noodle. For drinks, we went for their coffee and Fresh Calamansi with Sour Plum. Also got a snack plate of Fried Cauliflower.
The Mee Siam was really delicious and the sambal was spicy and yummy. You could feel the dried shrimps in the Sambal. The Otak Otak (despite not wrapped) was equally good and with a flavorful amalgamation of ground fish and spices. The serving was quite large.
The Sambal Seafood Noodles was moist and the aroma was delightful. Generous on prawns, squid and fish cakes. Not too spicy and I enjoyed it very much.
Fried Cauliflower as so so only and was crispy hot. Tasted better with the chili sauce.
We enjoyed our drinks and I must say that the coffee was wonderful.. not sweet and very "kaw".
Fresh Calamansi with Sour Plum
Kopi
Good atmosphere, wonderful service & with reasonable food pricing! What else can I ask for, except we went home with a satisfying and contented feeling.
