A Zhao Chicken Pot Qingyuan Chicken Pot

Chiefeater Connie TSS tried the Qingyuan chicken pot at A Zhao Chicken Pot and especially liked the smoky chicken feet and gentle ginger dip

Croissant, Kopi, Non-Halal
I was browsing the online delivery options and came upon Tian Fang’s Scrambled Egg Bacon Croissant. For a total of RM14.90, I also opted to add in a cup of Hainan Kopi Kaw for an extra RM2.
The croissant, while not achieving the utmost fluffiness I typically desire, managed to win me over with the delightful combination of scrambled eggs and bacon. The eggs, though slightly overcooked, retained a tasty flavour profile. The bacon (made of pork), not overly crisp but just the way I prefer it, added a savoury touch that harmonized well with the eggs and croissant. The pictures I took don’t do it justice at all.
The generous size of the croissant helped to make this quite an enjoyable breakfast too. The additional Hainan Kopi Kaw from Tian Fang was too kaw for me. It would be suitable for those who like their coffee to be strong and bitter in the morning.
