Mee Rebus, Street Food, Pork-Free
Whenever we go to Ipoh we normally frequent chinese food outlets. However this time after our visit to Mural Street as the weather is so hot we took shade being attracted to Vintage Cafe No100 Jln Sultan Iskandar enjoying the many vintage collections and the nostalgic music coming out from it’s viynl sound box.
Upon asking about the mee rebus among which the owner couple was at the kitchen preparing the husband said mee rebus is rated their number two best offering and proudly state that mee goreng is their number one. After settling down for some drink to cool down I decided to order mee rebus.

We must say their number two dish is by far the number one best mee rebus we tasted so far. The gravy is well balance with hint of herbs and not too sweet or thick that you enjoy eating without feeling jelak. Every mouthful were so comforting and enjoyable to eat. If their number two is so good we will be looking forward to try their number one mee goreng when we return with space in our stomach to Vintage Cafe No100 the next time.

Their cold limau ice have good amount of limau in it and coffee was generously bitter kaw.
