Toast, Pork-Free
Ya Kun Kaya Toast is famous for their toast and originates from Singapore. They have an outlet in KL at KLIA. At RM18.90, the French Toast with Kaya Set at Ya Kun Kaya Toast KLIA might make you hesitate. But, this being the airport, a premium is expected.

The french toast itself, surprisingly, was quite decent. The bread was fluffy and not overly sweet, making it a nice base for the kaya, which added a subtle richness without being cloying.

Unfortunately, the soft-boiled eggs were overcooked, losing that perfect wobbly texture they’re known for. The kopi, however, was the biggest letdown—weak and watery, tasting more like an afterthought than the punchy brew one hopes for in a kopitiam setting.

A decent toast, forgettable coffee. Good if you’re craving kaya toast before a flight—but probably not the most value-for-money breakfast you’ll find in KLIA.
