Chiefeater Kane Chong had a variety of street food for lunch at June Canteen in Taman Maluri

Kai See Hor Fun, Poached Chicken, Non-Halal
My friend Michelle said let’s go try Yee Kee Ipoh Noodle 17 at Section 17, Petaling Jaya. The chicken noodle soup was yummy. The steamed kampung chicken was firm but smooth. The meatballs were well seasoned and flavourful, but not hard and dense – they had a good texture. The short, fat bean sprouts from Ipoh were fresh and crunchy. Michelle said the chicken gizzards were good (I don’t eat organs). Overall, a good meal and we will come back again.

We arrived at 12 noon on Wednesday, 3 Jan and there were only 1-2 occupied tables. By 12.30pm, the shop was full. So you should go early.
