Satay, Halal
Restoran Sate Kajang Hj Samuri Puchong, a name synonymous with delectable satay, has extended its reach to Puchong Jaya, bringing forth a feast of flavours to satay enthusiasts. Choosing to have Sate Kajang Hj Samuri delivered home via Grab, the experience was marked by efficiency. The order, placed while I was on the way home, arrived shortly after I had reached home. It swiftly made its way to my doorstep, ensuring that the satay was served fresh and ready to satiate our hunger.
There are more options of satay available at Sate Kajang Hj Samuri than many of the operators in Puchong. I explored the option of chicken, beef, mutton, liver (Hati) which came with gizzard and also stomach satay from this renowned establishment.

The chicken satay, priced at RM2.39 per stick, boasted succulent and well-seasoned meat. The beef satay, priced at RM1.30 per stick, showcased a perfect blend of spices, while the mutton satay, priced at RM2.20 per stick, offered a slightly chewy texture but with a robust flavour profile.
While the size of each satay stick was notably generous, it came at a premium. The chicken satay stood out as the highest priced, reflecting the quality and size of the portion.

The accompanying peanut sauce, or kuah, showcased the expertise of Sate Kajang Hj Samuri. Thick, rich, and bursting with flavour, the peanut sauce elevated the satay experience, turning it into a symphony of tastes.

An aspect that left room for improvement was the absence of onions accompanying the satay. Adding a touch of freshness and a contrasting crunch, onions are a customary accompaniment that was regrettably missing. While Restoran Sate Kajang Hj Samuri Puchong offered variety, I still think that I prefer Mazlan Satay, especially their chicken satay.
