Mezcal, Nachos, Burritos, Non-Halal
Since we were on a night out at Poblacion, we rounded up our evening with some mezcal and tequila at A’Toda Madre Tequila Bar. This is a Mexican haven where tequila and mezcal take center stage.
A Toda Madre should translate to “All the Mother” in English but that’s far from the meaning of how it’s used. It’s often as an emphatic way to describe “You Are The Best” or “That’s f__king great” The name and the vibrant decor, reminiscent of the lively streets of Mexico, created an ambiance that invites patrons to savour the essence of Mexican culture.
Their commitment to offering an authentic Mexican experience extends to its diverse selection of mezcal and tequila. Our evening featured a mezcal shot and a margarita, both of which contributed to the festive atmosphere and added a spirited touch to the dining experience.

The nachos salsa delivered simplicity at its best. The crispiness of the nachos paired with the freshness of the salsa made for a satisfying appetizer.

The Steak Burrito, unfortunately, fell short of expectations. While generously filled, it lacked the crucial element of proper packing. This led to a somewhat messy dining experience as ingredients tumbled with each bite. Additionally, the mild seasoning left a gap for a more robust flavour profile.

Still, A’Toda Madre Tequila Bar was a great way to end off my nights in Manila and left an indelible mark on me. I had been away from Manila for way too long.
