Chee Cheong Fun, Yong Tau Foo, Non-Halal
Returning to S One One Restaurant SS3 was a journey back to familiar surroundings. SS3 was a place where I had grown up at. And at one point this kopitiam was our go to place for breakfast every morning. Jen wanted to come back here for the yong tau foo. We had seen this stall grow from limited offerings to the variety of YTF they have at their stall today.

She ordered a hearty combination of chee cheong fun (with the sweet sauce) and yong tau foo. The star of her feast was the turnip yong tau foo, meticulously crafted with fish paste and mixed with turnip. It's a flavour profile that resonates with her preferences. Her meal came up to RM13.

Opting for a simpler yet flavourful choice, I savoured a plate of mee siam complemented by eggs and a generous drizzle of rendang. The melding of tangy and spicy notes created a symphony of flavours, making my RM6 meal a pocket-friendly delight.

We used to have an issue with the waiters who took the drink orders. They would almost always ask us if we have drink orders at the point that were finishing our meal and of course, we would decline. This time they were quick. As soon as I found a table to sit at, they were on me to take my drink order.
The relatively easy parking at S One One SS3 combined with the stall offerings at their outlet makes it a draw for diners.
