Breakfast in Ipoh. Hakka mee at Leekko Hakka Mee, which was behind the kao wong yeh temple. It was quite a new shop and very popular. It had the raw garlic in vinegar and fish sauce that we love to add to our Hakka noodles and dip our yong tao foo in.

I’m happy that young food operators are coming up in Ipoh and achieving success. Most importantly, they maintain the authentic taste of Hakka Mee and Yong Tau Foo. This is the second time I came here, and I will come back again.
