Basilico Restaurant Lunch
Italian, Non-Halal
- RM20 - RM50 per pax
Chiefeater William WL Loo wanted a change of palate from street food so indulged in a bit of Italian with lunch at Basilico Restaurant
Nasi Lemak, Street Food, Non-Halal
My hubby hailed and grew up in Kampung Baru, KL. He literally grew up eating Taste Legendary Nasi Lemak. This is a very traditional Chinese Nasi Lemak with Hakka Cha yok, pork curry , kang kung etc etc manned by a very humble Chinese man who took over from his father in the Chow Kit market.
Credit goes to hubby for taking snapshots of his childhood haunts in Chow Kit. My father in law used to take hubby on his rounds , he used to buy his groceries fr CHOW KIT , that is where hubby would eat his childhood food
Very soon this place manned by these old seniors will be demolished and you can never see such quaint eateries and shops anymore. Hubby loves going and walking down memory lanes
Editor's Note
It's now closed due to the demolition of the market. They have relocated to Kepong
No 17, Jalan Ambong 3,
Kepong Baru,
52100 Kuala Lumpur
