Hon Kee Petaling Street Kepong Roast Pork
Chiefeater Alwyn David and his family had dinner at Hon Kee Petaling Street Kepong and found the roast pork good

Hokkien Mee, Non-Halal
Chiefeater VK was helping me shortlist late night eateries since the morning. I eventually settled on Loong Kee because
1) they open till late
2) they’ve fried intestines with shrimp
3) they’ve both hokkien mee and fried rice
Apparently Loong Kee has been dishes up Hokkien mee since 1974 (50 years).
The intestines was too bland for me, lacking the smokiness of the shrimp & garlic, and could do with more chillies. 6/10

The fried rice was too wet and clumpy/lumpy for me. The wok hei was missing . Total 6/10

The hokkien mee was Loong Kee’s specialty and it showed. The flavours were full on and brazen – wokhei sealed in. It could have been better with more meat slices and vegetable ingredients. Texture of noodles was fine. This was a 7/10

Overall experience was a 6.5/10. Total damage RM112.
