Having ordered from Crab B Restaurant several times via food delivery, this visit marked the first time dining in at the restaurant - a long-overdue experience that turned out to be thoroughly enjoyable.
The restaurant was bustling with diners, yet the kitchen’s efficiency was nothing short of impressive. Despite the crowd, our four dishes arrived at an almost unbelievable speed. Just 10 minutes after placing our order, the stir-fried choy sum was the first to appear, setting the tone for a meal that was both swift and satisfying. The subsequent dishes arrived shortly after.
Each dish delivered on flavour. The Lala with Cincalok brought a briny, umami-rich depth with the fermented shrimp sauce complementing the natural sweetness of the clams.
The omelette with petai was my personal favourite—fluffy yet substantial, with the bold, slightly bitter bite of petai adding a deliciously distinctive touch.
Meanwhile, the kampung chicken, a dish that David particularly enjoyed, had a firm yet juicy texture, carrying the natural taste of free-range poultry that’s often lost in conventional farmed chicken.
For a meal for three, the total came to RM153.45, which felt like excellent value given the quality, speed, and portion sizes. Crab B not only delivers well via food delivery but also proves to be a great spot for an enjoyable, no-fuss dine-in experience.
