At Eleven Fingers Eu Kee Scissors Curry Rice. Nothing beats a plate of ‘banjir’ Chinese curry rice or chapfan. This is quintessentially Southeast Asian - economy rice. Scissors cut rice got its name over the years bcos the operators snip strips of meat - like expert tailors. And there’s something about Chinese style curry - it’s milder than their Malay and Indian counterparts.

This is a very rustic place in Bugis. It’s as if you’re transported back into the 1960s (in a good way). The curry chicken and braised pork was cut into strips - overall 7/10 experience. The stall is operated by an old couple.
