Chiefeater David Quah noted Restoran MAKE in Bandar Baru Nilai as a popular place for traditional Kelantan and East Coast cooking

Japanese, Pork-Free
Oceanus KK used to buzz with life, but most of the tenants are gone now. One of the holdouts is Sakagura Japanese Restaurant, which the Google reviews claim to be one of the best Japanese restaurants in KK. Decided to test that with two dishes.
The grilled unagi fried rice didn’t quite hit the mark. The rice leaned too wet for my liking and lacked the smoky, caramelised depth you’d expect when unagi is involved.

Thankfully, the fried chicken (RM28) redeemed the meal. Crisp, light batter with a juicy interior—each piece held its shape and had just the right amount of seasoning. This one came through.
