My heart beats faster , I feel light headed.but yet I am drawn for another taste and another. Somehow the raw peppercorns and green chillies burst into agonising flavours unknown to my palate. Mind you I can handle spices from Peranakan, Malay and Indian but this is different.
I scoop rice in my mouth to assuage the burn. I go for a bit more. And I down the cold grapefruit lemon drink which offers some relief.
Maybe I come back in 6 months
