Restoran How Yekee Tai Chow

Chiefeater Yong Choy Peng shares a new tai chow at Restoran How Yekee in Section 17, with sweet and sour pork and Kam Heong prawns

Chinese, Non-Halal
Together with 5 friends, we made our way from Melaka to this small Cantonese new village called Air Kuning Selatan. It took us about an hour to reach. Kenny recommended this place, famous for its fresh water fish and prawns.

The “soon hock” steam fish cost RM110.00/kg. Jason, another cari makan kaki said it cost a lot more in KL. (I know it cost RM200/kg in Karak)

The Cantonese rice wine chicken was RM50.00/bowl. Was a bit sour in taste. So different from our Hakka version which is sweet.

The steam river prawns cost RM120/kg (RM150/kg at Karak)

It was a great lunch.
