Japanese, Tuna
Post by Chiefeater Luke Soon
We stayed in a business district (KaiGan) near Tokyo Bay over the weekend and had dinner at Bluefin by Uoriki. As the name suggests specialises in tuna, the best species of fish. This ain’t a Michelin -starred offering, but what’s special about being in Japan is that ANY of their seafood offering is supreme. ANY. And when it comes to bluefin tuna, this is arguably their best seafood fruits de mer, offering.
The sushi was good obviously. Nothing out of the ordinary.

The tuna steak with a paprika puree was also good at 7/10.

The standout for us was the tuna soup. 7/10

This was a Sunday evening; obviously this restaurant would be packed during work days as you can imagine. But it was a very relaxing dinner for us.
