YTF at Segambut Yong Tau Foo
Yong Tau Foo, Street Food
- RM20 - RM50 per pax
Chiefeater Pat Lim found the YTF at Segambut Yong Tau Foo to better than he had expected

Korean
Dinner at Sae Ma Eul BBQ Puchong offered a mix of standard grilled fare and a standout noodle dish. This restaurant is known for its traditional Korean charcoal grill experience and authentic side dishes.

The BBQ selection included Pork Belly (RM35.00) and Spicy Chicken (RM38.00), both of which were decent but did not leave a lasting impression.

The clear highlight of the meal was the Japchae (RM24.00), a dish of stir-fried glass noodles with vegetables and pork. The noodles were well-seasoned and flavorful. If I were to come back, it would be for this.

Spicy Chicken: RM38.00
Pork Belly: RM35.00
Japchae: RM24.00
Our total bill averaged slightly more than RM50 per pax
Score: 6.77/10
M – Meal Value
The pricing is typical for an authentic Korean BBQ establishment in the Puchong area. While the BBQ items were standard, the quality of the japchae offered solid taste. However at RM24, I am not positive this was good value.
Score: 6.8/10
V – Venue & Vibes
Sae Ma Eul offers a lively, casual atmosphere that captures the spirit of traditional Korean street-side BBQ. Located on the busy Jalan Kenari 8, it provides a vibrant setting for a relaxed dinner with friends or family.
Score: 7.0/10
X – X-Factor
The fact that the Japchae beat out the grilled meats makes me wonder if there’s an X-Factor here
Score: 6.5/10
