Yong Tau Foo
The food simply was not to my liking because of a major texture issue. We ordered a fair selection of classic items, including ladies finger at RM6.40 for two pieces, brinjal at RM6.40 for two pieces, bittergourd at RM6.40 for two pieces, a salted egg roll for RM6.50, fuchuk king at RM6.40 for two pieces, chilli at RM6.40 for two pieces, and white taufu at RM4.20 for two pieces.

While the items arrived intact, the meat and fish stuffing inside the vegetables and tofu felt far too pasty. It lacked that firm, bouncy resilience that makes a great yong tau fu satisfying, making the overall bite feel mushy and underwhelming.

The salted egg roll was the one that came closest to something decent.

Total: RM46.20
Average per pax: RM23.10 per pax
MVX Score: 6.2/10
M – Meal Value
The overly pasty items did not offer a great return on the financial investment.
Score: 6.0/10
V – Venue & Vibes
As a delivery order handled through Grab, the kitchen packed the items securely, and the package arrived within a reasonable afternoon timeframe. However, a delivery bag cannot make up for the core texture flaws of the food itself.
Score: 6.5/10
X – X-Factor
The X-factor was low on this occasion due to the disappointing filling consistency. While the variety of options like the salted egg roll and fuchuk king sounded promising on paper, the pasty stuffing held the entire meal back from being enjoyable.
