Sang Har Mee, Non-Halal
Bai Wei Kopitiam in Taman Danau Desa dares to fuse the flavours of local Malaysian, Hong Kong, and Thai cuisines. While the masses clamour for their so-called "signature" curry mee, I, as a discerning connoisseur, had my sights set on a plate of Sang Har Mee.
Expectantly, I ordered a single serving, eagerly awaiting its arrival. As the dish was presented before me, the aroma of the rich and tantalizing gravy wafted to my refined senses. The sheer size of the river prawn adorning the dish was commendable, demanding attention. With each forkful, the harmonious marriage of flavours danced on my palate, resulting in a gratifying culinary experience. However, allow me to indulge my refined tastes and confess that when it comes to Sang Har Mee, I still reserve my loyalty for establishments of greater prestige, such as GreenView or Soo Kee.
That being said, one cannot disregard the reasonable price of RM24 per plate for the Sang Har Mee at Bai Wei Kopitiam. Considering the quality of the dish and the impressive size of the prawn, it can be considered a fair deal in the realm of plebeian eateries.
