霸稻Kopitiam BD is a hidden Gem in Austin Heights. The food here is really impressive! I personally think the food here is great. Almost everything we ordered was top-notch! We asked the owner why it's named 霸稻 or BD, and they said it's because the owner is quite bold.
They specialize in serving Hakka cuisine, and here's what we ordered:
BD CEO (Three-Color Noodles), Hakka Black Fungus Rice with Fried Pork, BD Curry Noodles, Hakka Fried Meatballs. The iced Kopi is really good, and the hot Kopi is tasty too. Their simple Meesiam is surprisingly good as well. And of course, I couldn't resist ordering their Kaya Butter Toast, which was also delicious (I'm a fan of buttery Kaya bread).
BD CEO Three-Color Noodles Set is RM16.90 (recommended)
Comes with three flavors: plain, black, and tomato noodles, plus braised pork, minced meat, char siu, and wanton soup.
BD Curry Noodles (delicious and generously topped).
